DAY 421 | JOI BROZEK - Writer, Marketing DirectorThis town is a curious magic. It’s filthy. It’s decadent. It’s the last refuge for those bent on being someone else for a few days. It’s full of bugs and soul and drink and glory and delight and despair. It smells of old wood and lurid tropical flowers that are just starting to brown. It may not be the hottest place, but it is the most sultry. You don’t have to look too hard to find jewels caught in the cobwebs in the trees. It’s like no other US city. It’s like no other city, period. You can keep ‘em all and leave the best of us to have New Orleans.
